About the Program

Nursing education aims to prepare a student to fulfill a professional nurse’s roles, functions, and responsibilities in society. Learning the art of nursing is based on scientific principles. In accordance with the nature of the nursing course, which is both theory and practice, the students are provided opportunities to learn in the classroom and the same time, gains clinical skills in the care of patients in a variety of settings.

  • Nurse Generalist – (staff nurse, community health nurse, hospice nurse, geriatric nurse, clinical nurse, school nurse, private nurse, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse administrators)
  • Nurse Educator – (Clinical instructor, clinical preceptors, Diabetes educator, nurse administrators)
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner – (ambulatory care nurse, cardiovascular nurse, critical care nurse, emergency care nurse, gerontology nurse, gastroenterology nurse, hospice/palliative nurse, nephrology nurse, nurse informaticist, obstetric nurse, oncology nurse, orthopedic nurse, ostomy nurse, renal nurse, telehealth nurse
  • Other fields – (occupational nurse, entrepreneurial nurse, medical sales representative, and healthcare representative)
  • BS in Nursing is also a good preparatory course for a Doctor of Medicine.
