LEARNING COMMONS (LC)
- The computers in the LC are available for use from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Moderate level of noise is allowed in Learning Commons since it is designed as an interactive space.
- The two Group Study Rooms in LC are available upon reservation at Information The use of any AV equipment is allowed in this area.

GROUP STUDY ROOMS
- The LRC has provided seven (7) Group Study Rooms (GSR). Most rooms can accommodate up to fourteen (12) persons.
- Room reservations are made in person at the Information Desk at least seven (7) days before date of use.
- Food, beverages, and any audio-video equipment are not allowed inside the Group Study Rooms.
- The GSR can be used for a maximum of four (4) hours only per

- During examination period, the use of the GSR is on first come first served basis, no reservation is needed.
USER EDUCATION/REFERENCE SERVICES
The LRC assists in locating information and instructions as well as in the use of LRC services such as the use of the online public access catalog (OPAC), the CD-ROMs and the Internet. LRC orientation is conducted to freshmen and transferees at the beginning of the school year. LRC instruction is given upon request by the faculty especially in Research classes.
LRC OPAC (ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOG)
To find LRC materials, the readers have to search the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). This database contains bibliographic information of books found in the LRC. There are ten computer terminals for the purpose; four are at the 3rd floor while the four are at the 4th floor. It also provides an index to articles in journals received after 2001. Indices to articles in journals before 2001 are found in the Periodical Index.
PRINTING SERVICES
Printing service is provided to users. A minimal charge is assessed for every printed page. Inquiries about this service can be addressed at the Learning Commons.
LAPTOP AREA
A Laptop Users’ Area with carrels is provided for students who would want to use their own laptop. The use of the carrels requires no fees and reservation. However, only 1 student is allowed to occupy the carrel at a given time.
OTHER SERVICES
Inter-library Loan/Reciprocal library Agreement
The LRC has engaged in an interlibrary loan/ resource sharing agreement with institutions that are members of the Davao Private School Librarians Association (DPSLA) and Davao Association of Colleges and Universities Network (DACUN). As agreed, a letter of referral is necessary from the college/school librarian of the requesting student to the lending library. The policies of the lending institution will be observed.
OTHER SERVICES
LRC Automation Software
The LRC is fully automated. For the automation of all its operations, the LRC utilizes the software Destiny Library Manager. The LRC also utilizes the SmartLib Attendance Kiosk which generates accurate data on all patrons utilizing the LRC.
