LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER (LRC)

Habitual violation to any of the rules will mean forfeiture of one’s right to use the LRC and its services. LRC users are enjoined to follow strictly other rules and regulations which the LRC may promulgate and announce from time to time.

GENERAL RULES

  1. Bags should be deposited at the courtesy booth located outside the Learning Resource Center (LRC). Likewise, it should be claimed upon leaving the LRC.
  2. A valid school ID is necessary when entering the LRC.
  3. Students must be in their uniform when using the LRC. Those in P.E. uniform may be allowed to enter only to return books. During non-uniform days, proper dress code must be observed.
  4. Silence should be observed. Students should avoid making excessive noise that might disturb others.
  5. Students should push the chairs quietly against the tables before leaving the LRC and should use the garbage bins in disposing waste papers and other trash.
  6. Food and drinks are not allowed in the LRC except in the Learning Commons. Meals should be eaten outside the LRC.
  7. Mobile phones and other electronic alarm devices should be switched off or put in silent mode when taken inside the LRC. All phone calls must be entertained outside the LRC.
  8. Preparing visual aids in the LRC is allowed in the Learning Commons only.
  9. Photo shoot and recording videos inside the library must be coordinated with the LRC Head. Letter must be submitted 3days prior to the event.
  10. Students going out of the LRC must present their personal belongings for inspection. This is to make sure that LRC materials that are brought out are properly registered at the Circulation Desk.
  11. Fine is imposed for an overdue LRC material for every calendar day including Christmas and Easter breaks.
  12. Vandalism, tearing of pages or mutilating any LRC material is strictly prohibited.
  13. Damaged or lost materials must be replaced with the same title. If the exact replacement cannot be obtained, the LRC may require a title in the same subject area that the LRC does not currently possess with the same value as the damaged or lost book. In case of payment for a lost or damaged book, the LRC determines the amount based on the current price of the book with an additional One Hundred Pesos (₱100.00) for processing fee. In addition, the library also requires payment of the outstanding fines.
