The Periodical Counter is a dedicated space where various periodicals, such as magazines, newspapers, and journals, are organized and displayed.
The Circulation Desk facilitates the borrowing and returning of materials, ensuring a smooth flow of library transactions.
The Learning Commons is a vibrant and multifunctional space designed to foster collaborative learning, innovation, and academic engagement. It goes beyond traditional library functions, providing a dynamic environment where students can collaborate on projects, access multimedia resources, and engage in interactive learning experiences.
The LRC has provided seven (7) Group Study Rooms (GSR). Most rooms can accommodate up to twelve (12) persons.
The Faculty and Graduate School Library is a specialized area catering to the distinct research and academic needs of faculty members and graduate students. This dedicated space provides a quiet and focused environment for scholarly pursuits, offering an extensive collection of advanced academic resources, specialized journals, and research materials relevant to higher-level studies.
The Instructional Multimedia Center (IMC), under the supervision of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Department, serves as the school’s support hub for multimedia and audio-visual needs. It houses and circulates essential audio-visual equipment and materials such as speakers, microphones, projectors, and related devices.
The IMC also manages the scheduling and use of the Audio-Visual Rooms (AVR 1 & AVR2) and the Smart Classrooms (SD 501 & SD 502), ensuring that these facilities are readily available for academic and institutional activities. In addition, the center provides technical assistance for a wide range of functions—from small classroom activities to large-scale school events—helping create an effective and engaging learning environment.
Audio-Visual Rooms (AVR 1 & AVR 2)
The Audio-Visual Rooms (AVRs) are specialized facilities designed to support academic instruction, training sessions, and institutional events that require multimedia presentations. Managed by the Instructional Multimedia Center (IMC) under the supervision of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Department, the AVRs are equipped with audio-visual technologies that enhance learning and communication.
There are two AVRs available:
AVR 1 – can accommodate up to 110 participants
AVR 2 – can cater to 50 participants
Both facilities may be reserved by faculty, staff, and student organizations through the IMC, ensuring that school activities are conducted in a conducive and well-supported environment.
The Fiction Nook offers a cozy haven for literature enthusiasts, providing a curated selection of fiction books for leisurely reading.
OPAC stations (Online Public Access Catalog) offer computer terminals for users to search and locate specific resources within the library’s vast collection.
The Senior High School Books Collection is a specialized section dedicated to academic materials tailored for senior high school students.
The Stack room section holds a compendium of literary works that encompass copyright dates from 2010 and below.
The Archives section serves as a dedicated repository for preserving and organizing historical documents, rare manuscripts, institutional records, and other materials of enduring significance.
The Periodical Section houses a collection of current journals, magazines, and periodicals, providing access to up-to-date information across various disciplines.
The General Reference Section helps the users identify and locate information through various reference. Materials here include dictionaries, encyclopedias, yearbooks, handbooks, almanacs, atlases, maps, gazetteers, biographies and other reference materials. Strictly for “Library Use Only”.
The Filipiniana Section houses books focused on the Philippines, which are publications on or about the Philippines, written by Filipino or foreign authors published in the Philippines or internationally.
The Newly Processed Books section showcases the latest additions to the library’s collection, ensuring that users have access to the most recent publications.
Nap Room is a designated space within a library that is specifically designed for patrons to take short naps or rest in a comfortable and quiet environment.
The Book Shower operates as a self-service machine employing UV light to sanitize and cleanse printed books to ensure that they’re not infected and safe for use.
