The San Pedro College views education as a tool for social transformation of people for development and nation building. The setting up of the college community engagement and extension service office serves as the social arm of the college for its off-campus activities. First, it seeks continuous improvement and development of students, faculty and personnel to become agents of change in the areas of education, health, environment, ecology and economic development. Secondly, it constantly renews its option and commitment to be in partnership with the partner communities in their journey and struggle towards inclusive development.

The Community Engagement and Extension Services (CEES) is an office responding to the call of compassionate service through sustainable community development programs that impact community empowerment thus contributing to the improvement and quality of life especially the poor and disadvantaged. It acts as a partner of the different schools and offices of the College promoting a sense of social responsibility among students, employees and alumni as well as contributing innovations to instruction and research. As a partner, the CEES shall collaborate with all community engagement and extension initiatives, working cooperatively and harmoniously in an atmosphere of truth, compassion and mercy, inculcating the spirit of volunteerism among the SPC community. The CEES pursues to establish collaborations and linkages with other institutions and agencies both locally and internationally supportive of College’s thrusts and programs.
