San Pedro College, through the School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS) and the Internationalization and Linkages (InterLink) Office, strengthens its commitment to internationalized healthcare education through the SAHS Cross-Border Clinical Learning Program in collaboration with two esteemed Malaysian partner institutions: Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

The program brings together 46 SPC delegates, composed of 42 students and 4 faculty members, representing four academic programs:

15 students from Pharmacy Department
13 students from Physical Therapy
7 students from Radiologic Technology
7 students from Respiratory Therapy

Through clinical exposure, academic immersion, observational learning, and engagement with international healthcare professionals, participating students gain meaningful opportunities to explore diverse healthcare systems, internationally benchmarked practices, contemporary technologies, and evidence-based approaches to patient care.

Aligned with the Program Learning Outcomes of the participating academic programs and UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, this initiative empowers future healthcare professionals to strengthen their clinical competencies, develop intercultural understanding, and integrate global best practices into local healthcare practice.

More than an international academic experience, this program represents SPC’s continuing commitment to developing globally competent, culturally responsive, and collaborative healthcare professionals.
