𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐄𝐃𝐑𝐎 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈 𝐓𝐄𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐈 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐀 (𝐔𝐈𝐓𝐌), 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐀 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐎𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐓 2026

San Pedro College opened its doors to a distinguished delegation from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia on August 19, 2026, for a one-day academic visit and cultural exchange under UiTM’s Global Mobility Program.

The visit was co-hosted by the SPC Internationalization and Linkages (InterLink) Office and the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC), in collaboration with the SPC School of Allied Health Sciences — Pharmacy Department. This tri-institutional partnership between SPC, UIC, and UiTM reflects a shared commitment among Davao’s academic community to opening pathways for international learning.

The delegation was led by Prof. Khuriah Binti Abdul Hamid, joined by five UiTM students: Nur Hanissa Azhan Binti Jafni Azhan, Nur Arnida Binti Rosly, Hani Nurain Binti Mursalim, Mizanabihah Binti Ariffin, and Syarifah Nur Adriana Binti Syed.

The morning opened with a warm salubong and a program graced by Dr. June L. Prieto, Director of the InterLink Office; the International Students Organization; Dr. Fatima May R. Tesoro, Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences; and Associate Dean Daniel Joshua C. Pendon. A Round Table Discussion followed, focusing on Global Mobility Program insights, partnership directions, and possible areas of academic collaboration, capped by an open forum among program coordinators, UiTM faculty, and host faculty from both SPC and UIC.

San Pedro College is to host partners who share our commitment to global learning and collaboration — and grateful to UIC for standing alongside us in welcoming our friends from Malaysia.
