San Pedro College, through the Internationalization and Linkages Office (SPC InterLink), proudly congratulates our selected SPCian participants who have been officially accepted into the Kansai University Multilateral COIL Program (MCP), featuring the international course “Globally Known J-Pop Culture.”

Throughout the program, the participants will explore how Japanese popular culture transcends borders through the lenses of media, cultural, and fan studies. They will engage in insightful discussions with international peers on topics such as Soft Power, Cultural Diplomacy, Cool Japan, Transnational Fandom, creativity, identity, and cultural exchange, while strengthening their global perspectives and intercultural competencies.

Out of the limited five (5) institutional slots allocated to San Pedro College, these thriving students successfully met the program’s requirements and were officially endorsed by SPC to represent the institution on the global stage.

We commend our delegates for embracing this opportunity to expand their international horizons and serve as ambassadors of San Pedro College in this collaborative global learning experience.
