𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐂𝐎𝐈𝐋) 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

San Pedro College (SPC) successfully hosted the 4th Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Conference on March 12 to 13, 2026 at the Philomene Labrecque (PL) Hall in Davao City, bringing together educators, researchers, administrators, and students for meaningful global collaboration.

With the theme “Beyond Borders: Building Sustainable Global Classrooms through COIL and Transnational Partnerships,” the conference gathered 67 participants from 28 higher education institutions across the Philippines, together with international partners, reflecting a strong and growing network committed to global learning.

The conference featured Rachel Woods, JD of Baylor University, Waco, Texas as the in person keynote speaker, along with virtual speakers Hope Windle of SUNY and Dr. Nor Zainiyah Binti Mokhtar of the International Islamic University Malaysia, who enriched discussions on COIL and transnational education.

SPC also collaborated with its COIL co hosts, Davao del Sur State College, Davao Oriental State University, and Negros Oriental State University. Participants engaged in plenary sessions, discussions, and workshops, presenting 33 collaborative COIL outputs that showcased innovative practices and cross institutional partnerships.

Held as part of SPC’s Internationalization and Linkages Week and the celebration of its 70th Founding Anniversary, the conference strengthened connections among over 30 academic institutions nationwide and reaffirmed SPC’s commitment to globally connected and sustainable education.
