Building rapport and outlining organizational plans for the second semester, the San Pedro College Peer Facilitators Group (SPC-PFG) launched their second general assembly entitled โ€œKasasamahanโ€ at the Saint Therese (ST) Building, Feb. 1.

Kicking off the event was the kumustahan session, where PFG members and officers were given an opportunity to share their thoughts and reflections heading into the program.

In his opening remarks, PFG Auditor Adrian Dimaguila highlighted the value of camaraderie and teamwork in the pursuit of organizational success.

โ€œToday is not just our general assembly; it is a reminder that none of us does this aloneโ€ฆ Each one of you brings something valuable to the organization.โ€

Shortly after, various reports were rendered by committee officers, led by PFG President Kirby Patrick Alagdon, Executive Secretary Royette Gabriel Carr, and General Treasurer Rossini Viel Tayo, respectively.

Moreover, Internal Vice President Hyacinth Tribunalo provided a rundown of the second semester activities prepared by the organization, orienting members on the upcoming programs and community extension projects.

Serving as the highlight of the assembly, different team-building activities were unfurled, including trending parlor games and Filipino classics that provided a platform for members to reinforce fellowship.

A solemn candle-lighting and oath-taking session marked the tail end of the assembly, upholding PFG tradition and symbolizing each facilitatorโ€™s commitment to their role as advocates of compassion.

Project Head Ashley Nicole Mante gave the closing remarks, where she commended the efforts of all attendees and the working committee, formally closing the program.

SPC-PFG works hand-in-hand with the Guidance, Counseling and Testing Center (GCTC) to train students in providing basic mental health support and promote emotional well-being to fellow learners. Per the organizationโ€™s latest internal tally, the group consists of 143 verified members.
