𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧

The Association of Psychology and Human Services Students (AssoPsycHSS) officially launched “Chronos 2026: Unwinding the Origins of Mind & Matter” on Jan. 26, at the San Pedro College (SPC) Gymnasium, signaling the start of two-day competitions of sports and performance-based events.

Activities commenced with a parade of teams and a ceremonial torch lighting led by AssoPsycHSS President Kheila Vania Servano.

Participants took the Oath of Sportsmanship under the direction of Project Head Alyanna Marguerite Lazarraga following the opening ceremony.

Judges for the Liveliest Delegation and Team Icon categories were introduced during the first session, followed immediately by team interviews and the opening of the tournament brackets.

The Forgers secured a hard-fought victory in the basketball championship against the Watchers after a defensive battle that remained within a few points until the final buzzer.

The Forgers also continued their winning streak later in the morning by claiming the championship title in the Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) tournament.

Afternoon and evening schedules transitioned the program toward cultural and performance-based events.

Vocal Duet and Battle of the Bands competitions highlighted the program of the day, as students performed at the gymnasium.

Impersonation contests concluded the first day of Chronos 2026 as participants showcased various portrayals through costumes and character acting.
