San Pedro College Diagnostics, Research, and Training Center Receives DOH Recognition

The San Pedro College Diagnostics, Research, and Training Center (SPC-DRTC) was honored by the Department of Health Davao Center for Health Development with the “Most Responsive Health Facility” award during the Harmonized Health Awards 2025, held on 20 November 2025 at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao City.

This recognition is awarded to health facilities that demonstrate exceptional efficiency and commitment in meeting regulatory standards. SPC-DRTC earned this distinction for achieving the shortest and most efficient journey toward full compliance with licensing requirements as a drug testing laboratory, reflecting its dedication to quality, responsiveness, and excellence in service.

The award underscores the growing impact of SPC-DRTC as a reliable partner in public health and regulatory compliance. It further strengthens the role of the School of Medical Laboratory Science and Public Health (SMLSPH) in producing competent professionals and developing service units that meaningfully contribute to community health and national development.
