To highlight its mission of promoting Filipino culture within San Pedro College, foster cultural performances, and establish rapport among its members, SPC Kultura held its General Assembly 2025 at Philomene Labrecque (PL) Hall, Aug. 31.

Starting a fresh journey this academic year, Kultura greeted 109 members with Pagsibol: Panibagong Yugto ng Sining at Kultura.

“The inspiration behind the term Pagsibol comes from the idea of growth and renewal. Just like a seed that breaks through the soil to reach the light, Kultura is entering a new chapter, ready to bloom and bear fruit”, Shella Mae Tandogon, SPC Kultura President, stated.

According to Tandogon, Pagsibol reflected their vision of nurturing each member to cultivate a vibrant and united organization rooted in art, tradition, and cultural pride.

“Our hope for Kultura this academic year is that we continue to grow not only in numbers but also in passion and spirit, and we want every member to feel that they truly belong to a family that nurtures their talents and supports their growth”, Tandogon added.

Kultura showcased their new logo and branding, revisited their constitution and bylaws, and acknowledged their new members through a pinning ceremony.

“Meeting everyone in the General Assembly gave us a sense of pride and hope, because it showed that Kultura is not just surviving, it is thriving”, Tandogon shared.

She also emphasized that this year’s roster of members will bring Kultura to greater heights, which will be full of collaboration and unforgettable experiences.
