San Pedro College, through the San Pedro College Internationalization and Linkages Office, partnered with the School of Business Management, Education, Arts and Sciences, hosted the International Islamic University Malaysia for a Global Lecture Session on March 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

The International Islamic University Malaysia has chosen Dr. Nor Zainiyah Norita Mohktar to conduct a session entitled “Intercultural Communication”. The Global Lecture session was held for the selected English major students and AB Language students. The event was also graced by the Teacher Education Program Head, Dr. Vivien A. Jubahib and other faculty members from the School of Business Management, Education, Arts and Science. During the session, they have strengthened their knowledge on the importance of effective communication, especially when dealing with people who have diverse cultural roots. The session highlighted the process of sharing information, ideas, and values between individuals from various cultural backgrounds. It entailed recognizing and addressing differences in communication styles, behaviors, and perceptions that stem from cultural diversity.

Ultimately, San Pedro College, in partnership with its esteemed collaborators, remains committed to fostering global learning and upholding excellence in education.
