𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩 ‘𝟐𝟓 𝐮𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐰𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭

Sports Camp 2025 assembled San Pedro College (SPC) student-athletes and sports enthusiasts for two days of competitions, training, and exhibition matches to advance athletic excellence, held on Aug. 9-10 in multiple venues across Davao City.

Opening activities on day one began with registration, subsequently specialized matches at Blue Gym, Obrero; swimming at Holiday Inn & Spa; table tennis at SPC; and chess at SPC Pauline Guilmette (PG) 203, under the supervision of the coaches.

After lunch break, the afternoon program featured basketball drills at Davao Chong Hua, taekwondo sparring preparation at the SPC dance room, and badminton training at M2 Badminton Center, keeping the athletes and participants engaged until late afternoon.

Volleyball, badminton, basketball, swimming, table tennis, and chess sessions filled the morning as coaches guided participants through skill development.

Day two started with the registration before athletes participated in exhibition matches for badminton, volleyball, taekwondo, and swimming across four designated venues, propelling crowds of fellow campers and guests.

Table tennis was staged in the morning, while chess was played in the afternoon, underscoring participants’ precision, skills, and strategic thinking from the previous day’s activity.

A basketball exhibition match at the SPC Gymnasium was the final activity, delivering fast-paced plays and teamwork that uproared the audience.

In consecutive days, the sports camp concluded with a restoration and post-evaluation session, during which feedback was collected and top performers were recognized for their efforts.

The camp, with its multi-sports structure and schedule, set a benchmark for similar events in the city, inspiring young athletes to pursue further growth in their chosen sports.
