San Pedro College (SPC) once more exhibited vocal prowess as they secured two major awards in the Davao Colleges and Universities Network – Academic, Cultural, and Sports (DACUN-ACS) Competition 2025, held on May 25 at the Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) gymnasium.

Jaime Sofia Mangaoil was crowned champion in the Vocal Solo category, triumphing over eight other entries and bringing pride to SPC’s growing roster of talents.

Moreover, the SPC Chorale emerged as the 1st runner-up in the Chorale Singing category, reinforcing the college’s strength in ensemble performance.

Participants were mentored by moderator Jeremiah Ben Godines and conductor Richard Salas, under the supervision of Culture and Arts Coordinator Roy Villanueva.

Held under the theme “GROUNDBREAKING: Ignite, Evolve, and Inspire through Academic, Culture, and Sports,” the DACUN meet brought together its 12 member schools across the region to compete in various academic, cultural, and sports events.

Making its debut this year, the DACUN-ACS competition added a new milestone to SPC’s legacy of cultural and academic excellence.
