MADAYAW INTERNATIONAL MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH CONFERENCE

2nd Madayaw International Multidisciplinary Research Conference

The success of our 1st Madayaw International Multidisciplinary Research Conference last December 2018 inspired us to organize our 2nd Madayaw International Multidisciplinary Research Conference with the theme: “The 4th Industrial Revolution: Its Impact on Education, Health, Culture, and Environment” on August 14-15, 2019 at the Apo View Hotel Davao. This year’s conference is in partnership with the City Government of Davao, the Department of Science and Technology XI, the Commission on Higher Education XI, the Regional Development Council XI, C & E Publishing, and Quipper.

The 2ndMadayaw International Multidisciplinary Research Conference is also our tribute to the 34th Kadayawan Festival, a thanksgiving celebration of good harvest and richness of Davao’s culture. Kadayawan is derived from the Dabawnon word “madayaw,” which means anything good, beautiful, valuable, pleasant, and productive – a familiar feeling when one accomplishes a research work. Madayaw is also the peer-reviewed multidisciplinary research journal of San Pedro College.

Realizing this conference is our contribution to the Filipino and Global Community as we stand in the verge of technological revolution that would fundamentally influence the way we live, work and relate to one another. This will serve as a platform not only in sharing knowledge and innovation generated from the researches of participants but also to come up with an integrated and comprehensive response involving all stakeholders: from the public and private sectors, academe, and civil society as we welcome the challenges and opportunities of the 4th IR. Our invited speakers here and abroad will broaden our understanding of the impacts of this technological revolution to humanity, to wit:

PRC-CPD credit units are also applied for the following professions: Professional Teachers, Physical Therapists, Medical Technologists, Nurses, Accountants, Respiratory Therapists, Guidance Counselors, Physicians, Architects, Engineers, Psychometricians, Psychologists, and Agriculturists.

The two-day conference paved way to many linkages and collaborations between participants, organizers and sponsors. Our hearts are overwhelmed with the outcome and positive feedback from the participants. San Pedro College will work hard to conceptualize the 3rd Madayaw International Multidisciplinary Research Conference.
