𝐒𝐏𝐂𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐂𝐅𝐃 ‘𝟐𝟓, 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐬

Students participated in a series of activities at the 2025 Student’s and Club Fair Day with the theme “Pedro’s Whimsical Fair: Where Love Serves and Laughter Flow”, on Jan. 31 at the San Pedro College (SPC) Gymnasium, serving as a culmination for this month’s student events.

As different clubs and organizations built their booths inside the gym, the event began with opening remarks from the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) Assistant Head of Student Activities, Jose Mari Logroño as he shared his gratitude for the successful launching of the program despite multiple disruptions.

“I ask everyone to participate with a full heart. Be present, be kind, cheer for others, visit the different booths, join all the activities, and support the organizations who have prepared this for you. Let this be a day we’ll genuinely feel that love serves and laughter blooms,” he ended his speech with a reminder to the students.

SPC clubs and organizations enthusiastically joined together for their parade, followed by unique performances of solo and group Cosplay Showdown participants in their creative attire.

Minor raffle winners were announced, followed by the official commencement of Down the Rabbit Hole as students went from one station to another in the morning session.

As the afternoon session unfolded, the fair sustained its momentum with a lineup of activities that kept the SPC Gymnasium alive with energy.

The afternoon opened with a band performance by Anni Lov that set the tone for the rest of the program, drawing students together through music and shared enjoyment.

This was followed by an interactive live karaoke session, where randomly selected volunteers and willing participants stepped up to the microphone, while their audience cheered and sang along.

An informal debate soon took over center stage, encouraging students to exchange ideas in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere that highlighted both wit and confidence.

The energy peaked once again during the Just Dance segment, as students freely joined the dance floor and moved to upbeat K-pop tracks, creating a spontaneous display of fun and camaraderie.

A brief minor raffle draw reignited anticipation among the crowd, rewarding lucky students and adding to the celebratory spirit of the fair.

As the afternoon progressed, Down the Rabbit Hole continued to draw students across various stations, allowing them to explore games, activities, and booths until the session concluded with the afternoon attendance out and evening attendance in.

After a short break, the event continued its evening segment with presentations from Kultura and The Rock; Kultura danced along the rhythm as they told a story that surrounded the Filipino community, tradition, and culture, while The Rock displayed an informational video that exhibited a narrative about the 2025 SCFD.

This was then followed by the announcement of winners for the Cosplay Showdown in group and solo categories, as well as the Down the Rabbit Hole winners, accompanied by a major raffle draw.

“Today, we witness a community come alive to creativity, service, and joy. Truly, “Pedro’s Whimsical Fair: Where Love Serves and Laughter Flows,” was not just a theme, but an experience we all shared,” marked by the Student Congress President, John Laurence Satentes, during his closing remarks, where he expressed his gratitude for the event’s success to everyone who participated.

By the end of the day, Pedro’s Whimsical Fair highlighted the efforts of student organizations while promoting unity, creativity, and student engagement within the SPC community.
