The San Pedro College, through the Internationalization and Linkages Office and the San Pedro College – School of Counseling and Psychology (SCP), in partnership with the University of Jember (UNEJ), Indonesia, proudly launches its Cross-Border Program 2026, a week-long international exposure and academic exchange from April 14 to 18, 2026.

Led by the School Dean, Dr. Henry M. Yap, the Associate Dean, Ruth Marie D. Zosa, and the Program Coordinator, Maria Fe R. Solera, this initiative hopes to deepen understanding of culturally responsive mental health care, community-based counseling approaches, and comparative psychology frameworks within the Southeast Asian context. Activities include site visits to UNEJ’s psychology clinics, joint case discussions, and immersion with local community groups.

Anchored on the institution’s commitment to global citizenship and internationalization, this mobility program fosters meaningful partnerships, professional development, and inclusive perspectives shaping future counselors and psychologists who are locally rooted yet globally prepared.

This milestone reflects San Pedro College’s continuing dedication to producing compassionate, competent, and culturally agile mental health advocates.
