LOOK | San Pedro College marks the culmination of the Senior High School Cross-Border Program 2026 in Japan

With hearts full and horizons expanded, the San Pedro College, through the Internationalization and Linkages Office, in collaboration with the San Pedro College-Senior High School, Main Campus, proudly concludes its Cross-Border Program 2026 in partnership with Kobe Yamate Global Junior and Senior High School, Japan.

Guided by the theme “肩を組む (Kata wo kumu / Kapit-Bisig): Student Exchange and Global Lecture,” the program became a meaningful journey of academic excellence, cultural immersion, and genuine human connection. Throughout the exchange, SPC SHS students actively engaged in collaborative academic activities, insightful discussions, and interactive learning experiences alongside their Japanese counterparts.

Beyond the classroom, students embraced the richness of Japanese culture, gaining firsthand experiences of traditions, values, and everyday life. More importantly, the program fostered lasting friendships and mutual respect, truly embodying the spirit of “kapit-bisig”—standing shoulder-to-shoulder in unity despite differences in language and culture.

As we close this chapter, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partner institution, Kobe Yamate Global Junior and Senior High School, for the warm welcome and meaningful collaboration.
