Student leaders of San Pedro College (SPC) strengthened their leadership skills and organizational readiness as the Saligan Supreme Student Council (SSC) conducted Leader Ladder 2026 at the SPC Gymnasium on Feb. 15 in preparation for the upcoming Intramurals.

Held under the theme โ€œStudent Formation Series,โ€ the whole-day leadership formation gathered committee members and student leaders for a structured program focused on leadership development, teamwork, and effective event management.

The program began with attendance and preliminaries, followed by opening remarks that set the tone for a day centered on growth and collaboration.
Organizers presented an overview of Intramurals 2026, outlining the eventโ€™s goals, expectations, and the essential role of each committee in ensuring its success.
An introduction to the chain of command followed, emphasizing the importance of clear communication, accountability, and coordinated leadership.

Leaders from various committees shared their insights and responsibilities, helping participants understand their individual roles within the larger organizational structure.

The morning breakout sessions allowed participants to engage in focused group discussions and collaborative activities.

Furthermore, the sessions provided a platform for committees to explore leadership principles, strengthen teamwork, and align their strategies in preparation for their respective roles.

After the lunch break, the program resumed with case presentations and preparations, during which participants worked together to analyze leadership scenarios and develop appropriate responses.

The event culminated in a case simulation and presentation, one of its highlights, where committees applied their knowledge in realistic situations that tested their decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Through these simulations, participants demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and leadership in action, reflecting their readiness to take on responsibilities for the upcoming Intramurals.

A closing message encouraged participants to carry forward the lessons they had learned and to lead with integrity, purpose, and confidence.
