School of Nursing Collaboration

We are proud to present the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project between San Pedro College, Davao City, Philippines and Front Range Community College, Colorado, USA, entitled “𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐓: 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐚 𝐂𝐎𝐈𝐋 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭.”

This global initiative brings together nursing educators and students in an engaging academic exchange focused on perioperative nursing practices, fostering intercultural learning and professional collaboration across borders.

The project is led by Jo Ann B. Dela Cerna, Clinical Coordinator – Level 3, SON, and Monica G. Aguirre, Clinical Instructor in Perioperative Nursing, both from San Pedro College, Philippines, in collaboration with Natalie Hansen, Department Chair of Medical Services at Front Range Community College, USA.

This COIL initiative supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3 Good Health and Well-being, (SDG) 4 Quality Education, and (SDG) 17 Partnerships for the Goals, strengthening global partnerships through innovative virtual learning.
