𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 | 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 (𝐒𝐏𝐂) 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 (𝐔𝐍𝐄𝐉), 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚!

Through the Internationalization and Linkages Office and the School of Counseling and Psychology, SPC successfully conducted Guest Lecture I: Academic Counseling and Screening of Mental Health Problems in Students, featuring Dr. Henry M. Yap, Dean of the School of Counseling and Psychology, who delivered a global lecture, together with Zosa Ruth Marie D., Associate Dean, and Solera, Marie Fe R., Coordinator of the School of Counseling and Psychology Department.

The session gathered lecturers, counselor-lecturers, and faculty representatives for a meaningful exchange on culturally responsive screening methods, early intervention strategies, and the role of counseling in promoting student well-being.
The day also opened opportunities for institutional dialogue on curriculum development, counseling services, multidisciplinary research, quality assurance, and future collaborative community extension programs.

This successful first day marks the beginning of a week-long mission dedicated to stronger academic partnerships, global engagement, and shared advocacy for mental health across Southeast Asia.

Together, we continue building bridges that transcend borders.
