𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬, 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐲: 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 — 𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

At a time when educational institutions must not only mold minds but protect freedoms, Student Affairs and Services emerges as a vital force — the heart of every Higher Education Institution. It ensures that while students are formed in intellect and character, they are also shielded by justice, care, and structure.

In striving to fulfill this principled pursuit, 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 was represented by our very own 𝗢𝗦𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗝𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗟. 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯, and 𝗢𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗛𝗦, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗼ñ𝗼, attended the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱 – 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 hosted by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU) at the Centennial Auditorium, Jose Rizal University, Mandaluyong City.

With guidance from Estrada & Aquino Law and support from PEAC, the session tackled the intersection of legal frameworks and the soul of education — where governance, academic freedom, student discipline, and safe spaces must coexist with integrity.

Because in building the future, it is not enough to teach minds — we must also defend rights, uphold dignity, and lead with conscience.
