To guide and orient the incoming student officers in their plans for the academic year, the San Pedro College (SPC) Office of Student Affairs (OSA) held its onboarding and orientation for the different senior high school (SHS) and college clubs and organizations at the Saint Therese (ST) auditorium on Aug. 7.
OSA Assistant Head for SHS Jose Mari Logroño welcomed the participants in his opening remarks, emphasizing the significance of student leadership in forming spaces for positive and holistic development within the campus.
“You will learn about the protocols, guidelines, and responsibilities that come with your position, but most importantly, you will discover the power of collaboration, empathy, and effective leadership,” Logroño stated.

In his closing remarks, OSA Head Marlou Jade Eliab encouraged the student leaders to strive for balance between academic responsibilities and extracurricular commitments.
“Do not treat the organization or your leadership as the center of your life; it is part of the holistic formation that the school and institution would like you to hone as part of your college journey,” Eliab expressed.
