𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐬 ₱𝟐𝟎𝟎𝐊 𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐏𝐆𝐅𝐈

San Pedro College (SPC) raised ₱200,000 for the Sr. Pauline Guilmette Foundation, Inc. (SPGFI) through its five-kilometer run, “Running Pilgrims of Hope: SPC Fun Run for a Cause” held on Sept. 28 at the SPC Gymnasium.

Proceeds will support the education of children and youth from underprivileged families through the SPGFI.

The turnover ceremony held on Nov. 12 began with an invocation led by the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC), followed by acknowledgements and welcoming remarks from Araceli Dela Cruz, SPGFI treasurer.

Remark Mortalla, president of the Alumni Association, led the symbolic turnover, officially presenting the funds to SPGFI representatives.

Plaques of appreciation were awarded to Belindo Aguilar, director of the Student Personnel Services (SPS) along with the SPFGI Executive Committee members recognizing their dedication to advancing the foundation’s programs for those in need.

SPC President, Aida Frencillo, then closed off the ceremony with words of gratitude.

In a conversation after the turnover, Candice Laine Martin, head of alumni affairs, shared that the initiative serves as “an encouragement to our SPC community to be fueled with desire in the last and final leg next year.”
