Commemorating the success of its internship programs and honoring its 93 student interns, San Pedro College’s School of Business Management, Education, Arts, and Sciences (SBMEAS) held its 3rd culmination night with the theme “The Grand Voyage: Navigating New Horizons, Embarking on New Adventures,” at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, June 6.

“Tonight is not just the end of your practicum; it is a celebration of your hard work, growth, and the countless memorable experiences you have gained throughout your internship journey,” said Dr. Genaro Alderite Jr., Dean of SBMEAS, in his opening remarks.

Meanwhile, in her message, Dr. Ana Julia Enero, Vice President of Academics, congratulated the student interns, hoping that their acquired experiences will propel them to pursue their chosen profession with zeal and passion.

“Continue to give your best efforts, and as a stepping stone to continue achieving your goals, and when the time comes, I ask you to continue to be relevant and responsive to the needs of others as this will be the measurement of your success as a person,” Enero further added.

Enero also expressed her gratitude to the industrial partners, collaborators, and faculty members for the success of the internship programs.

Following Enero’s message, SPC alumni stepped up to share their inspirational speeches to the student interns.

“Tonight’s theme means that you are a few steps closer to your graduation, and your internship is just a glimpse of what the reality is,” Alexa Fae Magtira, SPC alumna and batch valedictorian of Class 2024 noted.

Magtira uplifted the student interns, emphasizing that it is normal to be scared and lost as every challenge they faced shaped them into someone stronger, wiser, and more capable than before.

In the later part of the program, selected student interns received awards such as the BSBA Best Practicum Student Award, the BSED English Best Intern Award, the BS Biology Best Intern Award, and the Most Presentable Interns of the Night.
