𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐡 𝐋𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬

San Pedro College (SPC), through the Internationalization and Linkages Office (InterLink) and School of Nursing (SON), hosted a cultural immersion activity for the delegates of Mae Fah Luang University, Prof. Nattaya Phadaenok and Dr. Jiranee Pinyapin, on August 17, 20, and 21, 2025.

Upon their arrival on August 17, the team began their cultural immersion at Magsaysay Park, where they were swept up in the vibrant energy of the Kadayawan Festival. On August 20 the tour continued with a visit to the D’Bone Collector Museum. During this excursion, they were able to examine an extensive collection of skeletal specimens from various species, notably a full-sized sperm whale skeleton, which gave them a better understanding of biological diversity. The final portion of their tour, on August 21, consisted of a visit to Paradise Island Resort, Samal. The tour concluded with a stop at Poblacion Market to acquire souvenirs, thereby completing their itinerary and providing them with mementos of their visit.

The entire cultural immersion experience was facilitated by the dedicated InterLink Office team, in collaboration with the esteemed Deans and Coordinators of the School of Nursing, ensuring a successful and memorable visit for the delegates.

Truly, this cultural immersion is key to strengthening international partnerships by helping visiting delegates gain a deeper appreciation for local traditions, which in turn enhances cross-cultural collaboration between institutions.
