To help shape the next generation of leaders, the Saligan Supreme Student Council (SSC) hosted “Sibol 2025: Planting Purpose, Growing Leaders” on Sept. 7 at the San Pedro College (SPC) auditorium and Saint Therese (ST) rooms.

Saligan SSC Moderator Charmz Orocio opened the program with a keynote address, stressing that true leadership means building leaders in others.

“The very measure of a good leader is someone who also cultivates others to become a good leader,” Orocio said.

Five officers from each of the 32 organizations joined breakout sessions that focused on leadership roles, strategies, essential documents and processes, and policy updates.

They were divided into specific groups tailored to their respective positions, allowing them to share experiences and strengthen practical leadership skills.

The event also continued with the elections for the new set of League of Clubs and Organizations (LCO) officers with Berlen Dela Cuesta as the newly elected governor.

Saligan SSC President Rochelle Aura Yap closed the event, highlighting the council’s role in bridging gaps among organizations to foster unity.
