𝐏𝐅𝐆 𝐮𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐀𝐬𝐬

Tackling future organizational pursuits, the San Pedro College – Peer Facilitators Group (SPC-PFG) highlighted their tactical plans for the entire school year during their first general assembly on Aug. 31 at the SPC gymnasium.

Bearing the theme “Ulayaw: Hand in Hand, Across the Land,” the organization oriented its members regarding their upcoming projects for the academic year that would boost the club and prioritize training their committee members to be adept at addressing mental health issues.

Organization President Kirby Patrick Alagdon spearheaded the said report, discussing future activities one by one.

In an interview with Executive Secretary Royette Carr, he shared that the organization aims to build spaces for the students in promoting, advocating, and highlighting welfare and protection.

“This resonates [with] the branding of the organization, ‘Ulayaw,’ which comparably means to be hand-in-hand in progression with the school community,” he said.

He also posited that concrete plans within the backbone of the organization will be made, especially in preparation for Research, Development, and Extension (RDE).

Meanwhile, a report of the previous administration was also made during the assembly, discussing the success of activities and events held by the organization last year.

The general assembly also included the discussion of the PFG’s branding, which talked about its vision, mission, and values, their reconstituted Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), as well as team-building activities and games that members can participate in.
