In its continuous dedication to continually bridging local and global opportunities for its faculty and students, the San Pedro College, through the San Pedro College Internationalization and Linkages Office, paved the way for the Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) for a Global Lecture Session on February 3, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.

The Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) was represented by one of the institution’s esteemed professors, Dr. Muna Madrah, M. A., to conduct a session entitled “Globalization and Religious Education: a Sociological and Geopolitical Perspectives”. This insightful talk was delivered to the selected students of the School of Business Management, Education, Arts and Sciences. During the session, Dr. Madrah delved into the core claims of globalization outlined by Manfred Steger, exploring its multifaceted impact on religious education, cultural identity, and global sociopolitical dynamics.
