San Pedro College through Internationalization and Linkages Office and School of Business Management, Education, Arts and Sciences collaborated with Universitas Islam Sultan Agung for one of the first Global Lecture Sessions!

Mr. Arvie Joy T. Villegas, Coordinator of the Social Sciences and Humanities Division, served as the Guest Lecturer with an engaging talk titled “𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒔” where he explored how cultural diversity shapes policymaking and the crucial role of social sciences in understanding and addressing these complexities.

During the session at UNISSULA, students actively engaged in meaningful discussions on innovation, emerging trends in education, and the essence of global citizenship. The event became a dynamic space for learning, connection, and collaboration. With passion and purpose, Mr. Villegas skillfully guided the conversation, leaving students with a rich and memorable learning experience.
