[GLOBAL VIRTUAL CLASSROOM COIL PROGRAM 2024]

We are excited to present the COIL initiative, “VEIN VOYAGE: INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION IN BLOOD EXTRACTION”!

This project is a collaboration between Front Range Community College in Colorado, USA, and San Pedro College in Davao City, Philippines. Our aim is to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3, which is Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4, which is Quality Education, and SDG 17, which is Partnerships for the Goals.

The project, called “”Vein Voyage: International Collaboration in Blood Extraction,”” will allow us to compare and contrast the practices, facilities, and training of phlebotomists. As a result, we will be able to develop competent and confident phlebotomists who can safely and efficiently collect blood from patients all over the world.

Representing San Pedro College will be Ms. Doren Otod, from the School of Medical Laboratory Sciences (SMLS).
