This study sought to find the leadership behavior of the top ten performing teachers from three departments of San Pedro College. The leadership behavior was classified into in-class and out-of-class behavior and personal attributes and further subclassified into human skills, technical skills, and conceptual skills. Data collected were from teachers, peers, administrators, and students. The study shows that the top performing teachers act as leaders whether in school or out of school. Teachers can be viewed as leaders inside the classroom and to be effective, teachers must be leaders. It is vital then that the school administrators may consider the leadership characteristics to be a potential model of teaching.
